Food Safety at SATS
Safety is one of the SATS core values.
SATS are proud to be certified to all major food safety and airline standards, including ISO22,000, BRC, SQF. The internal audit process is fundamental to maintaining and continually improving SATS standards. Technological enablement of this key process empowers the food safety culture at SATS.
SATS and MFC
In 2019, SATS engaged MFC Safe as a strategic partner to digitalise internal audits. MFC were chosen on the basis of their digital food safety expertise: extensive prior experience, subject matter expertise and passion for high quality results.
SATS and MFC worked closely over 2020 to design, develop, test and implement the digital internal audit platform into SATS Singapore.
Technology enablement
After going live in October 2020, the internal audits are now supported by best-in-class technology, at all steps of the process. SATS are now able to fully harness the derived value and purpose of internal audits. This results in a strong tech-enabled food safety culture, business intelligence and excellence.
